  Love this place. Quiet, personal, and wait staff are very attentive and professional. Dinner here is amazing! They have a selection of modern Australian cuisine and some good staples. Menu is minimalistic but perfectly balanced. Perfect formal dining experience.

  Went there for dinner tonight as it was our anniversary and was quite disappointed. Service was good so credit to the waiting staff. Unfortunately the kitchen failed us. The starter was good, entree was quite good and for the main we both ordered steak (rib eye $39.50 and scotch fillet $35.50) thinking it would be great as it's Culshaw's GRILL. We asked for medium rare. The rib eye was medium and one side was obviously cooked a fair bit longer than the other so it lost the juicyness. We could taste the charcoal on both steaks which was nice with the first bite but soon became very strong and overpowering such that we couldn't taste the beef anymore. Dessert was a real let-down. We ordered a panacotta and the coffee cream brulee. The consistency was hard. The panacotta seemed like there was too much gelatin, it was more like jelly than the smooth texture it should be. The creme brulee was heavy and stodgy, taste was bland, definitely not soft.
