  Very enthusiastic free tour guide. Seemed not concerned with running over alotted time, being so full of sharing her joy of the flora. Economic botany museum cannot be skipped by anyone eating food; ... which is all of us. The flowers and fruits of most of what we eat daily is beautifully laid out in all its varied detail, with most collections already 100 years old. You will be on for some surprises on food groups. All highly recommended.

  The daily tour which begins at 10.30am is a must-join! It is educational and enlightening getting to know the biodiversity and history of the botanic garden. One of the best botanic gardens I have visited.

  Beautiful gardens right next to the Zoo! Free entry with a cute cafe and restaurant, amazing places to explore local and foreign plants, extremely well taken care of areas, and a fantastic greenhouse!! The location is so perfect as it is located in the city, just a quick walk from the university and public transit

  This is what most of the cities miss. In a city like this, a place so relaxing and mind soothing is a gift. You can spend some hours exploring and studying the nature away from the busy city life. The glass houses are very educational and well maintained. Everything is free and they have free guided tours in certain days of the week. I enjoyed and refreshed my soul. Recommended on a sunny day.

  Very nice gardens. Great variety of different plant groups and areas specific to a type of genus. Tropical jungle greenhouse was felt like the real thing. Great to wander around have a geez and throw the footy with some mates.
