    Well... We were dismayed when we arrived to find furniture piled in the stairs and nothing in the lobby. So much so that we looked around for an alternative even though we'd prepaid. Due to a cricket tournament, nothing else was available, so we decided reluctantly to chalk it up as an experience. Imagine our surprise when we went down to the lobby the next morning to find it newly painted and carpeted: the night before had been the prep for the overnight renovation! It isn't fancy, but good value and much quieter than we expected. (This part of Adelaide is likely to be among the last to be improved, so be aware that some street people & establishments are still pretty seedy.)

    Great atmosphere excellent facilities

    Excellent spot for night life along the main strip in Hindley St. This means it's quite noisy at night (bring ear plugs). The building is very dated, and we had no control over air-conditioning making hot days tough and the tiny old elevator doesn't always work.
