    Bad impression when I first arrived and the apartment I was given smelled foul. The reception staff moved me straight away though with no arguments with their response. On the whole though the hotel needs to pay more attention to servicing the rooms - maintenance was obviously lacking.

    Staff were happy for me to dictate my own meal to accommodate food intolerances. The food was really good. But when I said no onion three times. I really did mean no onion!

    I called the Oakes Embassy directly in need of a room for an odd number of guests. They not only gave us everything we needed the rooms were large, clean, warm and check in was a breeze. Great work. Will return next year.

    Clean, tidy and spacious rooms. Friendly helpful staff

    Middle of the road through and through. The rooms are a bit old and could use an update. The cafe is substandard. The staff are nice.
