  Central location in a relatively quieter area. Furnishings are more classic than modern, but still functional. Only real letdown was the noisy air con and bar fridge.

  Very handy to Lane way cafes - Leigh & Peel st. Just a 2min walk to Rundel Mall & shops. Pleasant 25-30mins walk to Botanic Gardens & Zoo. All public transport close too!

  Location is excellent, however would not consider this a 4 star hotel. Very old, carpet desperately needs to be changed, windows are tiny so the rooms have hardly any lighting, the lights/lamps all have shades so that doesn't help either. The room also had a strange smell upon entering. The shower door was slightly broken, the toilet often wouldn't stop refilling after flushing, etc. Besides that, practicality was fine, it functioned as a hotel room and matress was comfortable. Customer service was also good.

  Highly recommend Hotel Grand Chancellor on Currie for reasonable price. Thanks & I'm sure I'll be back.

  Good value, clean and spacious. The restaurant is very good as well.

  Very friendly & extremely helpful staff. Initially Wi-Fi in room dropped out, but staff assisted via phone help desk! Rooms safe & quiet, but no views of city. Bed very comfortable. Shower over bath & both Hot with strong flow. Requested a microwave which the staff delivered. Spa & swimming pool with amenities all in basement, so no views but clean & able to use post checking out.
