  Spent 5 minutes in the room that was enough. Bed sheets looked like they hadn't been washed, stains on the double bed sheets, the carpet was stained, tacky and out dated with a odd odour. Not recommended

  Clean room, friendly staff easy check in only down side is spa bath in room did not work. Room was at a good price

  I didn't ask or demand a refund and he never offered any either. No suggestion of compensation. Poor customer service. If anyone we know asks us for a recommendation I will tell them about our experience at scottys motel.

  The room was very substandard. Shower screen panel missing. Vanity laminex peeling off. Sofa was dirty and stained. Carpets had cigarette burns. Bed linen was old and worn. There were biscuit crumbs in the bed. Seven head hairs about 12cms long in the bed between the sheets. We slept on the bedspread as we believe the sheets hadn't been changed. Pillows were old and thin as wafers.

  My husband and I booked for two nights online. Woman at reception argued that we only booked for one night. We booked 2 adults, plus one child. Woman at reception said we only booked for two adults and have to pay an extra $20 for our 18 month old daughter even though when we booked we said we had a child and we bought our own porta cot with us. We told her we did put our daughter and her age on our booking. Once we said she was 18 months old she decided to charge us an extra $10 a night instead. My daughter and I had a cup of water from the kitchen tap in our room which made us sick. The floors hadnt been cleaned properly at they were sticky.

  The nicest part of the hotel is the reception area.
