  Good insurance cover but have stooped to other insurance company tactics by following up an on-line quote with a pushy tele-marketer so you lose 2 stars. If I'm interested in discussing in person I will ring you. You should be offering your best price on-line anyway, not to try and price match over the phone later.

  im definately changing my insurance company when my policy finishes....when you put in a claim you never hear back from them im still trying to find out about my claim 2 months later...

  Been insured with Allianz for 25 years, finally try to make a small claim and end up not bothering. By the time I pay the excess and lose my 30% no claim bonus I end up with nothing.

  As a crash repairer! I find allianz very very poor in trying to lodge a claim for vehicle assessments.put on hold for 30 minutes is a absolute joke !!!!!

  My car was written off when hit from behind. Once I lodged the claim, the car was assessed within days. Final approval took slightly longer than I hoped as they advised claims were banked up with hail damage claims from recent storms. When I rang back asking if they could escalate as not having a car was causing so many issues, my claim was fast tracked and I had the money 2 days later. The best thing about the experience was I spoke to Aussies at every stage who understood me.

  I don't recommend Allianz as the only time a claim is worth while is if your house actually burned down. Even then I bet there would be a struggle to be compensated.
