  This is an OLD hotel with OLD fixtures and features. One must LIKE those things to appreciate the majesty of this place. If you DON'T like this sort of thing, go elsewhere. There is a perfectly good Adina down the street that would love your business. Everybody else, PLEASE STAY HERE! It's beautiful!

  Amazing old hotel. Absolutely STELLER. Ignore all the uptight reviewers on this page. Those people need to be staying at grey places done up by the cast on the Block.

  A 'classic' style bar which generally attracts an older crowd, the charm of the Ambassadors lies in its lack of pretension. A solid choice for drinks with a few close friends, although larger groups should probably consider somewhere with more space. If you're not into beer then there are plenty of better options for other fare downtown too, but the Ambassadors serves as a nice reminder of the Adelaide of decades past, pre artisinal-cocktails.
