  I've never been treated like that before. THEN, as I was arguing with the owner about his poor customer service, he called for security and took the refund I didn't even ask for off the bar and told me to get out! I said give me my money, which he did, then I left. Never going back. Hell no. Avoid at all costs unless you like being interrogated by the boss when you complain about raw fish.

  This is where things get weird. The owner, in the meantime, had grabbed the plate which was still full of wedges and salad, and disappeared into the kitchen. He came out with the fish ripped to shreds and demanded why I thought the fish was raw. Excuse me? Then his son chimed in because I unfortunately swore at the owner due to his implied accusations that I was lying about the raw fish. Chefs make honest mistakes, i wasn't rude or anything but the owner took it personally that I dared to say the barramundi was grey, fork bounced off it, and it was raw.

  Ordered barramundi. Got through the outer edge to find the middle was raw fish. I don't complain about food but had to take it back. Embarrassed to explain about the raw fish to a very understanding bar staffer, I said don't worry about a refund, a pint in its place will do. The barmaid was very apologetic and offered a refund anyway.

  A bit tacky but delicious food and fun to watch the strange passers-by. Try the Aces beef burger! It is larger than I was expecting and delicious!
