The call-centre support is the worst I've ever experienced, instead being able to arrange via the "Call back for Small businesses" I didn't expect to waste my time 28 minutes having this bloke on the line to answer me one simple question which is still not answered instead he gave me a warning that they take legal action against me if I have not reached in my tax to the 17th November - he didn't even listen that my accountants said I wouldn't have to do anything. Embarrassing experience and still not solved.

After months and months of waiting I finally have my TFN but am not happy with how much time I had to waste because of your staffs incorrect instructions. Even more lucky I never unnessecerily wasted money on ordering a new birth certificate.

Tried ringing so many times .... when I did get through the call centre wanted me to access forms on line, fill in & send back .... Unsure how with no printer ...Tried to explain I had been on an aged pension since 2008 but was getting accounts for non tax returns sent in... Apparently I owe $3800.00 in fines ( not tax) from not lodging a tax form since 2011 .... I am 71 years old ... All this because of a tick on the form that was wrong ... You are kidding me !! ... Then I find out I have some tax sitting there that I had not claimed due to no group certificate received .... I have waited for forms to be sent out .... Nothing but a warning that if I don't contact you regarding paying the amount I will be in trouble...Nothing reminding me I have money sitting there....Can't get any help from them on the phone as the computer wouldn't allow them to do anything .... Yeah Right... OK... So I will train & bus it to Adelaide to get it sorted ... What kind of rating do you think you deserve ... A computer is only as good as the operator & only spits out what a human has entered ... You have a one star rating because you need that at least for me to comment ... Well Done.. You have turned my life into a nightmare....

I first rang a few months ago as I lost my TFN and needed it for work. The guy I spoke to originally told me that unless I can identify myself he couldn't help me, in order to do so he said I needed a birth certificate that wasn't a copy. (I only had a copy) he then told me the only thing I could do was order a new one. Luckily I've been so flat out and haven't wasted any money only my time in waiting because today I rang up again just to see what they would say this time. After an extremely long intro (4 minutes and 30 second of listening to absolute rubbish and then asking me to enter my tfn 3 times even though I selected the lost tfn option ) I was finally put through to somebody. This lady was very helpful and told me my number after answering my security questions. I advise you to re train your staff so that you don't have half of your staff guessing these important questions while the others are doing their correct job.

All I wanted was to speak to a real person every year I'm waiting at least 6 to 8 weeks for my returns every year! It's getting beyond a joke I'm debt free so I don't know why they would have to do it manually I have no fraud crimanal convictions, I'm coming up to week 4 now and do you think I can find a number that actually lets you speak to a human being it's so fistrutaring

Don't bother! I wanted to sort my tax as I was having so many issues and wasn't able to get it back. After a quick look he said 'oh yeah that's no problem you should be able to be it transferred to your bank'. He then sat me down at a computer and told me to ring the same number I could have tried at home. And do you know what he was totally WRONG. I got zero tax back and it dragged out for 2 months. If you're on a 417 visa just lie and say you are a resident for tax purposes, the dumb people will not pick it up and you will get lots of money. Fill out the form wrong like I did and they will catch you.
