    Good range of beers on tap. Food isn't amazing but it's good and reasonably priced.

    Bit confusing with the ratings. The bar is excellent, meals and drinks all great. The accommodation is a little less so, communal bathrooms and toilets and smaller rooms. Rooms are great if you're on a budget as they're cheap. Unless the test cricket is on.

    Reasonable priced meals that taste great. Just would love a choice of salad dressing to make it perfect. Setting is an old style pub in the city centre that's shows off its heritage and has a nice, central beer garden. Lots of good air flow and great outdoor seating makes this a great venue in summer and the shoulder months. Great atmosphere on a Friday for lunch or dinner. Also had a sports bar that is not to overwhelming, and pokies are tucked into a corner where they don't stand out as much as other hotels and pubs.

    Service was great.. got there early for tea and they let us sit at our table... food was great
